Olaszrizling, 2021

A true Central European, Carpathian Basin variety. It is a late-flowering and high-yielding variety that tolerates drought relatively well. It can be used to make many styles of wine. Its true home unquestionably the Balaton. These range from light, citrusy, fruity, fresh, crisp wines to full-bodied white wines with an oily texture and mineral notes as well as soft acidity. Its aromas are mainly characterised by almond blossom, almond and wild mignonette (Reseda lutea). Its neutral character means that it is good at conveying terroir differencies.
