Infusio is Pannonhalma’s Bordeaux-style red wine.
Made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it is Pannonhalma Archabbey’s most prestigious blend and comes from the hottest vineyard. Ripe blackberry and cranberry appear simultaneously on the nose, complemented by the aroma of vanilla from the wooden barrels. The balance of extract sweetness, alcohol and ripe tannins results in a smooth palate, with concentrated notes of dried cherries and plums, as well as coffee and chocolate. It is a serious and elegant wine with Mediterranean notes and great ageing potential.
