Very intense on the nose, with varietal aromas reminiscent of linden honey and lime blossom, with oak barrel notes in the background. On the palate, the varietal fruitiness is joined by exciting complexity, dried fruit, stone fruit and a stony-mineral character. The palate is accompanied by sophisticated, ripe acids and finishes with a very long aftertaste that makes you want to take another sip.
The golden-yellow, ripe bunches in the Grófi vineyard offer a beautiful spectacle before harvest. Manual selection was followed by gentle processing and fermentation, and the wine aged for 6 months in oak barrels. A unique wine for special occasions, it will develop with further bottle ageing, and become more and more beautiful.
It is also an excellent choice for poultry dishes, grilled pork or cream pasta with wild mushrooms.
