Organic wines are not a niche market any more

Pasi Ketolainen MW (11:00 – 11:45 Monday, 11th March)

Several reports confirm the steady and continuous growth of the organic wine market towards the 2030s. It is no longer a niche market, as a growing number of consumers demand sustainable and environmentally friendly methods of agriculture and viticulture. Moreover, many winemakers – especially the new generation – see reducing waste and pollution as their duty to combat climate change. A fact – not an opinion. The course, led by Finnish Master of Wine Pasi Ketolainen, will introduce participants to the wines of six Hungarian wineries and their philosophy of organic viticulture and winemaking.
