Etyeki Kúria Pinot Noir, 2021

Pinot Noir has found a new home when planted for the first time in 2001 in the limestone dominated Etyek-Buda wine region, located just outside of Budapest. The vineyards planted on rolling hills benefit from constant breeze and lower average annual temperatures, ideal for this sensitive and capricious variety. An elegant Burgundy-style Pinot Noir, the nose is layered with notes of cherry, fresh red plum, sour cherry. On the palate it shows a combination of sour cherry and cranberry, with baking spices and wild strawberry.
