Tokaj-Hétszőlő Szamorodni Sweet Bio, 2020

Szamorodni is a historical wine category of Tokaj, just like 3 Puttonyos Aszú. They have basically the same richness and style on the nose and the palate. In the production of Sweet Szamorodni we do not select the aszú berries from the grapes, but macerate and press them as nature has given them. Due to its relatively moderate sweetness and excellent balance, this is the kind of aszú wine in Hétszőlő that can be served with fine dishes, not necessarily just desserts. This wine comes from the Tokaj-Hétszőlő Imperial Estate which derives from the Hétszőlő Single Vineyard from 1502 when 7 parcels of land based on loess soil were assembled.
