Tokaji Hárslevelű, Úrágya vineyard, 2019

Pale yellow with some greenish hints. Beautiful barrel notes with Hárslevelű in the nose, plus ripe grapefruit, mandarin, summer flowers. Clean taste, fresh, plenty of fruit, with 24g of residual sugar making the palate round and full-bodied. The acids balance the sugar wonderfully. Slight minerality and citrus on the finish. The product of a hot vintage this is a substantial wine full of delights.

Serve at 8-10 °C.

Serving suggestions:
– chestnut purée or a Mont Blanc pastry
– everything from the Far East, spicy and hot, this wine could be a great alternative to a Traminer
– simply as an aperitif, with puff pastry canapés
