A sweet Tokaji wine speciality for celebrations, to crown a dinner or on its own as a dessert. Excellent as an aperitif with foie gras or blue cheese. The botrytised grapes were harvested individually during October and November. The grapes were macerated in fermenting late-harvest Furmint-Hárslevelű wine for 48 hours. This was followed by traditional pressing using a Kossuth Press. The spontaneous fermentation took one and a half months. Aged for 24 months in new 300 litre Zemplén Kádár medium plus toast oak barrels. This was followed by two years of bottle ageing. The winery’s first Aszú wine. Organic viticulture and winemaking.
