It has a reddish colour and a fresh, fruity taste. On the nose and palate, it has notes of raspberry and cherry, as well as the sweet, spicy notes typical of Kadarka. On the palate, it is light and very juicy and is best served chilled. It is an excellent gastronomic wine to accompany tomato-based dishes, but it is also excellent on its own.
