As a result of a long period of joint thinking and cooperation, the Villány wine region announced in May 2014 that it was revising its system of protection of origin and launching a new wine region brand. The premium and super-premium Francs will be marketed under the Villányi Franc brand.

Polgár Villanyi Franc is an intense crimson red wine. Its taste is characterised by the opulence, body and playful richness of Cabernet Franc. It is full-bodied, has a long ageing potential and has a bouquet of plum, cherry, chocolate, cocoa and coffee.
