Koch Winery

Csaba Koch, owner of Koch Winery, winemaker and viticulturist comes originally from the Hajós-Baja wine region. He has been working on 150 hectares of vineyards in the Great Hungarian Plain since 1996.

In 2007 the Koch family decided to invest in the Villány wine region in order to produce red wines of the highest quality. In the Villány wine region the family owns 35 hectares of vineyards in Diósviszló, in the Imre Valley, next to the winery.

The Koch estate’s Classic, Premium and Super Premium red wines are produced exclusively from hand-picked red grapes. Each red wine is fermented in tanks and then aged in Hungarian, American and French barrels using traditional methods.
